Meet the Artists at Artistry in Wood
Von Voss
Von
Voss is a native of Fairbanks, Alaska and carries a great appreciation
of our wonderful North American wildlife and the countryside they live
in. She has been one of the major creators of the Franklyn 'the Moose'
series for Artistry in Wood and presently is a resident of Salt Lake
City, Utah.
Elaine
Stewart is also a native of Fairbanks, Alaska and is the sculpture
bringing Von's art to life with the Franklyn 'the Moose' series. She
also does the sculptures on many other pieces that Artistry in Wood
produces. Elaine is an owner of Artistry in Wood but you will also see
her signature on many pieces.
The
late Mr. Charles Faust, a native of San Diego, California, was a world
renowned artist in sand castings. The 'History of Flight' with Charles
Limburger and the 'San Diego Zoo' are just a few places you can find
his famous works of art. Artistry in Wood has the privilege of
reproducing some of his elk and bear pieces that are some of the most
popular in the mountain states area.
Jim
Keller is a native of Wyoming and has hand carved several elk pieces
that Artistry in Wood is reproducing. The original pieces were hand
carved in wood by Mr. Keller and we are very happy to be a part of
sharing this very talented artist’s works.
Thank You!We also would like to take this time
and say thanks for the blessing of all the great people, artists, and
friends surrounding us over the years with great art and friendships.
